Maintenance

(1)Compressor oil

1.The screw air compressors designed and manufactured by NSK can use the synthetic lubricants listed in the following table. Each compressor unit is shipped with a lubricant label indicating the type of lubricant added to the unit. Different types of lubricants can adapt to the ambient temperature and load conditions are not the same, the oil change intervals are not the same. Only use the special synthetic lubricants company can enjoy the appropriate security services.

 

 

2.For standard compressor units, SCR lubricants are normally shipped from the factory. This lubricant is a special screw compressor oil specially supplied by the manufacturer for reliable operation and long change intervals.

Do not mix oils of different types or brands as this can cause malfunctions, such as blistering of the oil, clogging of the filter, clogging of the orifice or plumbing, reducing the design life of compressors and lubricants.

3.When the machine is running, check the lubricant level regularly. Each unit of Sri Lankan unit is equipped with oil mirror on the oil-gas separator. The normal oil level should be in the green zone of oil mirror. If the level of the oil separator drops to the red zone of the sight glass after shut down, the unit needs to be refueled, but only when the unit is shut down and drained completely.

Affect the life of the oil factors

1) Unusual high temperature operating temperature

2) Pollution

3) Other types or brands of lubricants

4) Strong oxidizing substances such as acids, sulfur, chlorides, nitrogen oxides, welding fumes, ozone

5) Ammonia

6) Solvent-type fumes

7) Air dust

 

(2)Oil filter

The new machine should be replaced after 600 hours of operation oil filter cartridge, after whenever the following conditions occur when the need to replace the oil filter. Replace the filter should be shut down, carefully wipe away dirt and oil from the outside, as much as possible to prevent impurities into the lubrication system.

* At normal operating temperature filter (differential pressure) alarm, when the filter pressure exceeds 1.7 Bar (25psi).

* Every 1000 hours of operation.

* When changing the oil.

* Each oil sample test failed.

 

(3)Oil and gas separator 

The element is the overall structure, the oil mist can condense its surface into oil droplets, drip into the bottom of the separator, the return pipe is recycled back to the compression chamber. Handle the separator carefully to avoid damage. Once the separator core has been hit and deformed, even a little indentation will affect the separation efficiency resulting in excessive oil content in the compressor outlet, and even a tiny hole in the part will result in a very high oil content.

1.Under normal circumstances, if the air filter and oil filter properly maintained, oil and gas separator does not require periodic replacement filter.

2.When the machine appears the following situation, need to replace the oil and gas separator core:

* Splitter pressure switch action, before and after the pressure difference over 1.0kg.

* The oil content in the compressed air is still too high if it is determined that the oil level is normal, the loading and unloading are normal, and the oil return system is normal.

* Every 4000 hours

 

(4)Air filter 

Air filters should be checked daily.

Clean the dust bag daily (for heavy duty air filters), clean the dust cap or intake silencer chamber. In dusty environments, clean-up should be done more frequently. If the ambient conditions are dirty, it is advisable to bring the compressor air intake to a source of clean outdoor air.

Whenever the air filter vacuum switch action, pressure loss up to 25 "water column, the indicator light, the filter should be maintained; every 500 hours or three months should check the air filter for damage, air intake The system is not tight seal; under normal conditions of use, every 2000 hours of work or interval should be replaced air filter cartridge, if the environment is not good, more dust (such as ceramics, cement, etc.) should be properly reduced maintenance, replacement cycle. Heavy-duty filter to replace the main filter to be replaced at the same time safety filter. Safety filter in the process do not have maintenance.

Each time the air filter is serviced, check that the downstream side of the filter cartridge is dirty. If so, find out why and fix it. To ensure that the seal between the air filter and the compressor suction port, threaded connection, flange connection, leather pipe connection is absolutely reliable.

 

(5)Safety valve

If the safety valve dirty, it will cause the safety valve can not be opened or closed automatically after opening. Safety valve can not be opened will make it lose the function of protecting the pressure system, so that the safety of the unit is not guaranteed. Safety valve can not be automatically shut down there will be a large number of oil and gas separator oil spilled accident, resulting in property damage. Shut down weekly to check the status of the safety valve.

 

(6)Secondary return line

The role of secondary return pipe is to accumulate the oil separator inside the oil filter back to the low pressure chamber, which used to ensure that the back to the oil return stability. If there is a serious blockage in the secondary return line (mainly in the orifice and the filter), it will make the exhaust oil too much. Check secondary return lines, purge throttles and filters (if equipped) at specified times.

In routine maintenance, the following conditions should clean the orifice:

* Can not see the oil flow through the oil return observation window.

* Found that the gas content is too high.

* Change oil every time.

* Every half year.
